Educational Goals
"Openness, caring, and creativity" are the core values of NCNU. Our university emphasizes students' character building, knowledge learning, unique sports and community service, as well as expanding students' international vision, diversified learning, foreign language skills, and enhancing international mobility, in the hope of becoming a small, beautiful, and high-quality university with distinctive characteristics. The goal of our university is based on three concepts: the cultivation of foresight and international outlook, the balance between technological and humanistic outlook, the promotion of Chinese culture and the strengthening of the function of overseas Chinese education, with the aim of educating high-level talents in the domestic and overseas Chinese communities, and cultivating students with the character traits of caring for the people and serving the society.
Continuing the educational mission of the University, the College of Management has set "Foresight, Flexibility, and Feasibility analysis" as the educational mission of the College, which is to equip students with the ability to look forward to future trends, to cope with future changes in the social environment and globalization, and to propose solutions to the problems. In accordance with the mission, the educational goal of the Faculty is to cultivate students with the 3F's (3F's) of Foresight, Adaptability, and Feasibility analysis, so that students can be connected to the industry upon graduation, and can continue to develop themselves and develop cross-field, inter-disciplinary, and international learning to meet the needs of the industry and the development of the society.
The department's educational objectives are based on the university's goal of "cultivating outstanding talents with positive attitude and service enthusiasm, humanistic concern and scientific literacy, lifelong learning and international vision" and the College of Management's goal of "combining industrial and academic resources, and cultivating modern management talents with global vision, macroscopic thinking, and dedication to the community through the principles of technological integration and resource sharing". At the same time, through self-assessment to review the educational goals and the core competencies that students should possess upon graduation, and regular review of the Department's planned curriculum, we hope to improve the quality of students' learning and professional effectiveness, promote the improvement of teaching and create a high-quality teaching environment. The department's educational goals are twofold:
1. To cultivate professional abilities with business knowledge, international vision, innovation and problem solving, as well as corporate ethics and teamwork spirit.2. To cultivate professional management talents in international marketing and planning, international business operation and strategic management, international investment and financial analysis.
