Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are an important corporate form in the world, and their success determines the economic prosperity and growth of most economies. This course focuses on the main characteristics and key processes of strategic management in SMEs. It aims to understand the main features of SMEs and family businesses, as well as the factors and decisions that affect them over time, leading to sustainable competitive advantages. Through multiple cases, examples, and guest lectures from relevant professionals, students will gain a deeper understanding of how to formulate comprehensive strategic decision-making frameworks for SMEs, enhancing their knowledge of strategic positioning and strategic choice.
