The main objective of the course is to provide students with a basic introduction to economics, with a focus on microeconomics. First, the course will introduce the supply and demand model, which is the easiest concept to grasp when learning economics. Next, it will cover production and costs, which will help in understanding the subsequent unit on market theory, emphasizing the introduction of the four major market structures. This section will help students understand the operation and development of markets through examples and current global changes, aiming to equip students with the core competency of "professional knowledge in international business management." Additionally, case discussions will be used to develop the core competency of "innovation and problem-solving skills." Finally, through discussions on current events, students will cultivate the core competency of "teamwork and communication skills."
