The course aims to cultivate students' professional knowledge and skills in international trade and foreign exchange, to cope with the increasingly globalized business environment. Through discussions of real-life cases and practical learning, students will learn trade operation techniques such as commodity sales contracts, packaging, inspection, loading and unloading, customs procedures, transportation, and insurance contracts. They will also gain an in-depth understanding of key processes like letter of credit practices and the preparation of drafts. This course not only enhances students' skills in international trade operations but also helps them become more confident and competitive in future career employment. In this course, students will learn how to formulate trade plans, choose appropriate transportation methods, and carry out tasks such as quoting and customs clearance. Additionally, students will learn how to use letters of credit and related drafts, further understanding trade-related laws, regulations, and contract terms.
